BARBARA KAMMERER
Having grown up with parents who were doctors, it was Stef’s fascination with people that led to her exploring human nature through acting; unraveling characters and understanding why people are the way they are. She trained extensively in theater, film and also singing, specifically opera and performed in numerous theater productions in Australia as well as parts in TV, including All Saints before making the leap to feature film with her first lead role in the Australian film Wrath. Dawson then made the leap to the United States, where she has been working on the big and small screen on an international scale. Most notably, she plays Annie Cresta, a victor and disturbed lover of Finnick Odair in The Hunger Games Franchise and appears in Catching Fire, Mockingjay 1 and Mockingjay 2. She has also recently played the lead in various feature films such as Creedmoria, a dark comedy, coming of age story about a teenage girl growing up in Queens in the 1980’s as well as The Paper Store working with Penn Badgley and Richard Kind.
